Ali Mashayekhi
Ali Mashayekhi was the president of Landed Entertainments, a Canadian
based film production company for the past 20 years. Ali has produced over
85 films around the world since 2003 including; Japan, Indonesia, USA,
Netherlands and France, screening at over a 100 festivals and winning
several high profile awards including Audience Choice Award for Best Short
Film at Austin Film Festival in 2022.
Ali is also the Executive Director of the Ethnically Diverse Artists (EDA)
Foundation, a non-profit and charitable organization founded by Mena
Massoud (Aladdin), which aims to inspire inclusivity and diversity in the arts.
Additionally, Ali is also an ambassador for Inara, a non-profit charity that
helps war wounded children around the world, created by former CNN’s
Senior International correspondent Arwa Damon.
Recently Ali finished a Stephen King short story adaptation based on
Sherlock Holmes, The Last King, entirely in the Farsi language. This Farsi
adaptation stars Maz Jobrani (A Simple Wedding), Marshall Manesh (How I
Meet Your Mother) and Shiva Negar (American Assassin). Currently Ali is in
post-production of on season 2 Crave TV’s travel food series (Evolving
Vegan) and produced a horror feature film starring Cristo Fernandez (Ted
Lasso) coming out in 2024.
Zeus Kontoyannis
Zeus Kontoyannis is a producer and writer with more than a decade of experience in the film industry. He began his career at Cinetic Media, working on the Banksy documentary “Exit Through the Gift Shop.” Next, he worked under veteran Hollywood and Broadway producer Scott Rudin. During his time at SRP, Zeus worked on films including “The Social Network,” “True Grit,” “The Dictator,” and the original theater production of “Book of Mormon.” He’s also boarded projects produced by Terry Leonard, Mynette Louie, Peter Berg, and Ross Kauffman.
His films have screened at Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, Sitges, Fantasia, Fantastic Fest, Santa Barbara, and many others. As he continues to write, produce, and acquire new film projects, he is also developing his first television series with a veteran TV writer/showrunner and Sundance Film Festival adviser and partnering with Animetropolis on three adult-animation television
series.
Boundless Imaginations is the international arm of Zeus’ independent NY production company, Zeus Pictures. Like BI, Zeus Pictures develops and produces short and feature length films and is
focused solely on the North American marketplace.
